From 2005, so a little dated, but…

We salute Tony Larson from Agents of the Area, who has managed to design some decks within his Girl Skateboards line that will thrash your hearts out. He even managed to throw on some Roadside Architecture, or Venturi’s duck, if you may. Design geeks in the black and grey uniforms now can get a skateboard that does not clash!

For all the font nerds.

Anyone who has spent lots of time trying to get a research paper to fit within the parameters required by this or that instructor has fudged margins and fonts to achieve a barely passing grade. So you go to the fonts menu and try the various styles available. That’s how I first came to know of Helvetica, during one of those all-nighters trying to finish a paper. It’s appropriate that this homage to the classic font takes the shape of a coffee mug. I spent many over-caffeinated nights with bleary eyes looking at the sans serif characters. — from Veer

If I wasn’t so tough I might be into these.

Show your special someone how deep your love is by gifting her a tear of joy that she saved you from the abyss of loneliness. Real men don’t cry, but we can certainly have objects that symbolize our deep feelings. It’s easier than pretending something got caught in your eye. These vases come in several wood veneers and will add extra significance to any bouquet. — at Design Public

A reasonably priced, nice looking, way to charge your devices and hide the cords. My problem now is only having 2 devices (thanks to the iPhone). I’ve placed my bluetooth headset in there to make it 3, kind of.

Charging Station

We’re all proud of having the latest (and smallest) electronic gadgets to organize our lives. But what good are they if we can’t find them or the uncharged battery dies right in the middle of a conversation? With our Charging Station you can say good-bye to multiple chargers and their unsightly electrical cords snaking all over your desk. You can corral up to three items and neatly tuck a power strip out of sight behind the sliding door. No room on your desktop for the 13″ long Charging Station? You can also mount it to the wall as easily as a clock with two dry wall screws (included). The Charging Station is available in black or navy. — from KangaRoom

I actually have this in my home and it works very well. It’s tempting to try and jam your wallet and glasses where I guess letters are supposed to go, but then it looks kind of silly.
